Description
CircuCity is building the Nordic's first AI-powered circular marketplace that turns second-hand shopping into measurable climate action. Our platform (live at circucity.se) combines ML-driven recommendations, real-time CO₂ tracking, and gamified rewards. We're seeking a Technical Co-Founder with AI/ML expertise to own our entire technology vision and earn 15-25% equity in a company addressing an 80+ billion SEK market.
What We've Built
- Live platform with 700-customers ready to get on board as per our waitlist (93.8% interest)
- Python/Django backend on Verpex, payment integration (Stripe)
- Partnership with a few thrift stores
What You'll Own
- Technical architecture and AI/ML strategy
- Build recommendation engines, smart search, fraud detection, and CO₂ modeling
- Scale from 200 to 5,000+ users by December 2026
- Lead technical hiring and shape engineering culture
- Partner on fundraising and product strategy
Compensation
- 15-20% equity (4-year vest, 1-year cliff)
- Market salary starts at seed round (Q4 2026) or 50K SEK MRR
- 3K SEK equipment budget, flexible hours, remote-friendly
- Support for part-time work during the bootstrap phase
