About Samavira

Samavira is building the world's first scalable meditation brand through an accredited instructor certification and licensing model - think Zumba, but for meditation.

The problem we're solving: Most people can't sustain a meditation practice, because apps create passive dependency and use generic one-size-fits-all content that fails to meet individual needs. Meanwhile, qualified meditation teachers lack the skills to build a sustainable meditation business, despite growing demand.

Our solution: We train people to design a personalized meditation style, based on their unique mind and nervous system, supported by live community and accountability systems. In addition, we certify instructors and license them to deliver our training in their local communities under our brand.

What makes us different:

  • Our Method: Personalized approach - we teach people to become independent meditators, not app-dependent consumers.
  • Our Programs: We deliver meditation courses, teacher trainings (with accredited certification), and corporate wellness programs. 
  • Our Business Model: Turnkey brand licensing system - certified instructors receive our brand, curriculum, business playbook, marketing materials, and ongoing support to start local meditation hubs, becoming Samavira brand ambassadors

The Role

We're seeking a Cofounder with strong marketing expertise to drive growth and scale our mission. This is a true cofounder position - not simply a CMO hire. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Lead end-to-end campaign planning, implementation, and optimization
  • Set and track marketing KPIs; use data-driven insights to refine approach
  • Manage marketing budget and resource allocation
  • Build and scale content marketing strategy
  • Present marketing performance and strategic recommendations to stakeholders
  • Contribute to overall company strategy, fundraising, and business development
  • Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices

Required Background

  • Must have: Proven hands-on marketing experience (both strategy and execution)
  • Great to have: Additional expertise in branding, sales, operations, business development, or startup environments

You are someone who:

  • Has genuine entrepreneurial drive and isn't afraid of daily operational work (this is NOT a management-only role)
  • Thrives in startup environments - late nights, pivots, and ambiguity energize you
  • Enjoys being hands-on: brainstorming, testing, iterating, improving continuously
  • Is highly versatile: comfortable with strategy, execution, and team management
  • Learns proactively and constantly expands your skill set
  • Has strong interest in mental health and wellness (required) and meditation (ideal)
  • Believes in creating meaningful impact, not just building for an exit

Compensation

This role includes:

  • Equity stake
  • Profit dividends
  • Monthly base salary will be discussed after fundraising is successful
